ABOUT Halton Food for Thought

Halton Food for Thought has been feeding Halton students since 1997.

Started by a grassroots group of parents who noticed that not every child at school had (enough) nutritious food in their lunch box to fuel their minds and bodies for learning.

Today, HFFT has programs in 163 Halton schools - and growing! Our programs are universal in nature, at no cost to families and facilitated by over 1,500 volunteers who work with HFFT staff and schools to feed over 96,000 students in their communities.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: 

Arrive early for the student nutrition programs like the breakfast prep at schools in Halton - cutting fruit, making smoothies etc.- we will provide the schools list with a detailed list of activities in a follow up email once the schools have confirmed.
