ABOUT Shifra Homes Inc.
Shifra Homes is a maternity residence/shelter located in Burlington. We have 3 homes and 17 beds. We provide a safe haven for young, homeless, pregnant women.
Many residents have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, human trafficking, domestic violence, and abuse. These experiences place them and their infants at increased risk for mental health difficulties, and intergenerational poverty.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Volunteers can expect to: hold babies, organize kitchen, yardwork, organize storage space
