ABOUT United Way Golden Horseshoe
The Garden Hub program, led by United Way Golden Horseshoe in partnership with Niagara College Canada, is a 3,000 sq. ft. urban farm focused on sustainable food production, education, and community engagement.
Volunteers and students gain hands-on experience in growing practices. All food grown is donated to community programs, supporting immediate food access while investing in long-term solutions to food insecurity.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Volunteers will prepare garden beds and plant spring crops while gaining hands-on experience in sustainable growing. Their work will directly support fresh food production for local community programs.
