ABOUT Hamilton Jewish Family Services

HJFS is a multi-service non-profit agency that supports individuals, children, and families. Guided by the Jewish values, our services and programs are low-barrier, inclusive, and responsive to the social, physical and emotional wellness of all people.

HJFS provides inclusive programming offerings to all populations, with services delivered within the framework of Jewish values. Programs are provided under the following core areas: Poverty Reduction, Mental Health, Food Security and Seniors Supports.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: 

Volunteers will help prepare the gardens for planting by removing old plants, rebuilding garden beds, and organizing trellises. This hands-on work will support a productive growing season and strengthen community food initiatives.
